Stylidium

Pollination is accomplished by using a "trigger", consisting of male and female reproductive organs fused into a floral column, which jumps forward quickly in response to touch, without causing damage to the insect that pollinates, which leaves something dazed and covered in pollen. Glandular trichomes that cover the flower can catch, kill and digest small insects with protease enzymes produced by the plant.
